What you'll be doing

The Engineering Operations Manager manages the delivery of preventative and reactive maintenance activities for hospital assets through utilising in-house maintenance staff and external contractors.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline, suitable to qualify for membership of Engineers Australia, with extensive experience in asset maintenance management in a complex building environment.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in effectively leading and managing a team of maintenance trade staff with ability to actively engage staff and influence a culture of best practice asset maintenance management.
  3. Demonstrated commitment to, and proven skills in, effectively managing contractor performance and compliance in daily operations onsite.
