The Opportunity

Join our team as a Research Fellow and contribute to pioneering projects aimed at enhancing cognition for optimal ageing within the ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre’s dynamic research program. This position will also play a crucial role in enriching our lab environment by generating innovative research ideas, preparing papers for publication and designing and executing advanced experimental procedures.

Utilizing sophisticated laboratory and technical equipment, you will drive forward our understanding of optimal ageing. Responsibilities will further include project management, study coordination and various aspects of data handling, from collection to analysis and management, assisting with funding applications, research protocols and ethics applications, ensuring the smooth progression of our research initiatives.

Candidates should possess a doctoral qualification or be near completion in Psychology, Neuroepidemiology, Neuroscience, Neurology or a related discipline. Demonstrated analytical skills and a strong track record of refereed research publications is essential. Expertise in neuropsychology or neurology and experience with epidemiological methods related to neurodegenerative or cognitive disorders will also be highly valued.
