We are looking for a dynamic full time Practice Manager to lead the team.

About the Role

This full-time salaried role leading the multi-disciplinary Allied Health therapy team provides the Practice Manager with the opportunity to:

  • Support, Mentor and Manage the Team (Clinicians and Admin Officers) in delivering the highest level of customer service to children and their parents and carers. 
  • Maintain existing (and further implement) operational systems that are consistent, organised, efficient, effective and client-friendly
  • Manage HR: Attract, secure, train and maintain Clinical and Admin staff (in collaboration with Senior Leadership)
  • Maintain the facilities in the professional state deserving of our young client group 
  • Establish additional satellite clinics in conjunction with the senior leadership team 
  • Provide Hands-On Customer Service support as required 
  • Work closely with other leadership personnel  
  • Manage Daily and Monthly billings: NDIS billings and portal uploads, remittance, debtors, staff productivity   

This Role offers

Salary:

  • Full time salaried role ($80k - $100k + Super FTE commensurate with experience).
  • Monday to Friday within the hours of 8.15am - 5.15pm

  • Collaboration with a growing team of Admin teams as well as Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to provide holistic care for clients over four sites

About You

This role is ideal for you if you have:

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager (Allied Health field preferred) including staff management, HR and basic finance. 
  • Proven experience with Government funding initiatives, such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Medicare programs
  • Managing teams over multiple locations   

Skills: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly establish rapport with clients, families and professionals
  • High quality organisational, communication and time management skills.
  • The ability to grow, lead and inspire a team toward common goals (including staff recruitment and HR management in their entirety)   
  • The ability to build and maintain positive client relationships as well as communicate effectively with parents, teachers, medical and allied health professionals in verbal and written form.
  • Self-starter/motivator with multi-tasking capability, detail focused. ability to take initiative, to work autonomously as well as to lead a team with conviction
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and desk-top publishing and database management using Microsoft Office suite of products, and Practice management systems.
