Grade 2 Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology Registrar
Royal Melbourne Hospital

  • Part time 0.7EFT, Fixed term contract until Jan 2026.

Allied Health Psychology is a growing, dynamic team comprised of approximately 20 EFT (neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists and health psychologists). The service operates across both the City and Royal Park campuses, providing the highest level of care to both inpatients and outpatients in the public hospital medical setting. There is a strong culture of clinical research and support for professional development within our team.  

Your new role:

  • Provide evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions in a fast-paced hospital environment. 
  • Provide support and consultation to multidisciplinary teams within the hospital setting. 
  • The Clinical or Neuropsychology registrar will have an opportunity to work across acute and sub-acute medical settings and outpatient clinics at the RMH, treating diverse patient presentations. The Psychology team consult within the following areas of RMH: BMT long effects, integrated breast service, head & neck surgery prehab, pain program, osteoarthritis hip & knee service, and sleep disorders clinic. 

About you:

  • You hold a Masters or Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology.
  • You have full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • You have commenced, or are eligible to commence, the registrar program in your specialty.
  • You demonstrate a passion for public health and improving the well-being and quality of life of clients.?
