Recovery Performance Coordinator

 

  • $126,852.00 per annum  + Superannuation
  • 1 x FT Ongoing role 
  • Geelong Location (Hybrid Working Model) 

About the role

The Recovery Performance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Recovery, Planning & Performance division in delivering key initiatives to ensure we achieve the ambitious objectives of our strategy. 

This role will ensure that strategic and business objectives focused on health and disability services are met. 

The role will develop and implement improvement initiatives in conjunction with other areas of Recovery, Planning & Performance and WorkSafe that drive, support and improve the recovery outcomes for our customers. 

  • Develop, implement and evaluate new health strategies and initiatives aligned to the objectives of WorkSafe Strategy; focus on improving customer recovery and provider performance
  • Provide subject matter expertise and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure design and delivery of recovery related initiatives meet business and customer needs
  • Design and deliver health related programs of work including guidance materials that ensure high quality, evidence based and customer centric recovery services
  • Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the health and disability industry across Victoria, inter-state and federally to enable alignment opportunities, alternative courses of action on the provision of products and services as it relates to customer recovery
  • Through identification of service delivery outcomes you will support the development and implementation of predictive data analysis and dashboard reporting for health and disability services to meet the objectives of WorkSafe Strategy

About you

You thrive in working in agile environments and have a strong background in mental health, disability and /or workers compensation. You are a highly motivated individual that can work autonomously and feels confident in upskilling providers that haven’t worked with WorkSafe’s scheme before.

Skills and experience 

  • Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment where a responsive and flexible approach is required to ensure priorities and key business needs are meet
  • Contributing to a culture that promotes alignment to values and human centred design approaches
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and consultative skills with the ability to converse and influence a diverse group of stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Expertise in capturing input received from stakeholders, research and analysis to formulate new services and products, guidance materials, policy and procedures
  • Comprehensive understanding of the legal, policy and the operational environment (health and/or insurance) and proven ability to deliver improvement initiatives and programs of work supported by research, analysis and customer needs
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills and an ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong experience in executing quality written reports, briefs, presentations, training and strategic communications (oral and written) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in dealing with key industry stakeholders with an ability to demonstrate relationship and performance management with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business and customer needs to develop relevant and appropriate solutions, ideas and recommendations
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Project Management applications, PowerPoint, Salesforce and Outlook

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification(s) in health, health science or related project/business management field
