IT Systems Support Officer

The IT Technician will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our technological infrastructure and systems, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and solutions to maintain optimal performance and productivity.

The position:

The IT Systems Support Officer will be responsible to provide quality support and assistance to the Respect environment, staff and residents. The role’s primary aim is to ensure the proficient day-to-day functioning of the Information and Technology services and solutions. Working predominantly remotely, the role will focus on level 1 and 2 activities as well as the procurement and logistics of equipment supply requests. Some travel and onsite work may be required.

Requirements

Key duties include:

  • Provide support for all IT-related matters.
  • Manage all Desktop, and Windows infrastructure.
  • Achieve agreed service level agreements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation.
  • Manage procurement activities and logistics of equipment requests.
  • Contribute to IT-related projects.
  • Work with third-party vendors as required.
  • Other associated tasks as directed by Respect.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Fundamentals certification.
  • Previous IT Helpdesk and Support experience.

The following technical knowledge is strongly desired:

  • Office 365 administration.
  • Printer management and administration.
  • Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
  • Networking basics.
  • 3CX
  • Jira and Confluence
