Microbiologist

We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist for our client who manufacture sterile injectable in the pharmaceutical space. The role involves hands-on testing, preparation of reagents and media, and supporting quality and validation processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Testing: Perform hands-on testing of samples in the microbiology lab, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Reagent Preparation: Prepare stains, reagents, media, and solutions as needed for tests and production use.
• Media Preparation: Prepare and test culture media to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Micro-organism Identification: Assist in identifying micro-organisms under the supervision of a microbiologist.
• Temperature Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document laboratory temperature to maintain optimal conditions.
• Quality Management: Support quality management systems and participate in quality control activities.
• Validation Support: Contribute to microbiological method validations and production process validation protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field, or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior lab experience is preferred but not required; training provided.

Skills:

• Knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
