Remuneration: $106,142 per annum - $125,241 per annum + super and annual leave loading

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Coordinator Data and Evaluation position will develop, implement, and evaluate service development and process redesign initiatives that improve the efficacy and quality of end of life and palliative care initiatives at NSW Ambulance. 

This position will be responsible for data collection, analysis and the development of data management reporting structures and processes to enable the effective monitoring and evaluation of end of life and palliative care service provision. The role will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative projects and models of care across NSW Ambulance.

Please note: This is a temporary twelve (12) month position with possible extension.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience and attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary clinical qualifications with experience in data analysis and/or statistics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of applying research and evidence-based practice to the workplace with the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to models of care and project management outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify evidence practice gaps in service delivery and devise innovative, evidence informed strategies to address these.
  • Demonstrated interest in end of life and palliative care.
  • Demonstrated management of multiple and concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in Excel, data management, analysis and data presentation
  • Demonstrated understanding of evaluation purposes and an ability to contribute to project evaluation
  • Proven ability to prioritise, manage expectations, proactively make recommendations, and manage risk.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and the documentation, development, delivery and evaluation of health programs in a large and complex health service environment.
  • Familiarity with clinical redesign or other project management methodology.
  • Analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis.
  •  Demonstrated high level verbal and written communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
