IT Support Officer

About the role
Do you have a passion for providing ICT support and maintaining critical systems? At North Richmond Community Health (NRCH), you will play an essential role in supporting our staff to ensure the smooth operation of our ICT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ICT support to all end users in a timely manner.
- Maintain daily helpdesk requests and ensure efficient ticket resolution.
Assist in managing all networking hardware and software, including license management and lifecycle. - Support the management of laptops, desktops, and portable devices.
- Administer Active Directory, including Group Policy and user access control, while upholding security best practices.
- Coordinate hardware needs and equipment replacement in consultation with the ICT Manager.
- Manage day-to-day requests related to the phone system.
- Contribute to the development and review of ICT policies, procedures, and organisational strategic planning.
About you

- ICT Tertiary Qualification or at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a Windows environment with Microsoft applications, ideally Office 365.
- Previous knowledge/experience in network administration, helpdesk support, and hardware/software management.
- Experience in the installation, configuration, and management of IT operating systems and applications.
